The purpose of this research is to reveal the advantages of a peer-teaching approach and to evaluate its effectiveness when introduced into the high school EFL classroom.  One of the most significant aspects to be examined on the basis of this approach is the assumption that those who teach learn twice.  The framework within which students teach each other should lead to a meaningful negotiation among them, and occasionally with teachers, in order to achieve the goal of their learning.  This will result in heightened motivation to learn further, and help learners build self-esteem, which is expected to be the most substantial psychological outcome.  The practice of peer-teaching outside as well as inside the classroom should lead to positive beliefs in students that they are important and valuable individuals, and that they can achieve their full potential in everything.
